Barça Academy Australia Autumn Soccer Camps 2025: Smiles, Football, and Barça Spirit Over 15,000 km from Home
Barça Academy Australia experienced a very special month of April. Once again, the Barça soccer camps landed in three Australian cities thanks to our partner Akaw Sports, giving children and young people in Brisbane, Newcastle, and Canberra the chance to enjoy a 100% Barça experience. From the other side of the planet—more than 15,000 kilometers away—the Blaugrana spirit filled the fields and the hearts of everyone involved. The response was fantastic, and we are deeply grateful for the overwhelming participation and warm welcome we received in each city.
Brisbane: Starting Point of an Unforgettable Tour
Brisbane had the honor of being the first Australian city to host the Barça Camp this April. From the 7th to the 11th, the University of Queensland’s St Lucia Campus was filled with excitement, football, and all things Barça. With a large number of participants, the kids were able to train following the methodology of one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, guided by coaches and technical staff who came directly from Barcelona. It was an unforgettable week that left a lasting impression on both the children and their families.
Newcastle: Football Passion in Every Corner
From April 14th to 18th, the city of Newcastle experienced its Barça Camp at the Ray Watt Oval at the University of Newcastle with great enthusiasm. Hundreds of boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 17 participated in each session with energy and joy, proving that passion for football knows no borders. Commitment, teamwork, and happiness were present in every training session, reflecting the values that Barça Academy strives to share around the world.
Canberra: The Capital Turns Blaugrana Too
The final stop on this exciting tour took place in Canberra, where the last Camp was held from April 21st to 25th at the Regional Sports Complex. The Australian capital did not fall short, welcoming the project with open arms. Once again, participation was outstanding and the atmosphere was unbeatable. It was the perfect grand finale to an experience we will undoubtedly repeat.
