Origin of the motto “Més que un club”
The motto was officially adopted in 1968, during the presidency of Narcís de Carreras, who used it to express the deep relationship between FC Barcelona and Catalan society. In a time of great political restrictions, the club represented freedom, identity, and unity for the people of Catalonia.
Over time, “More than a club” has become the definition of an institution that not only wins titles, but also defends social causes, promotes youth sports and fosters universal values such as respect, effort, humility and teamwork.

At our Soccer Camps, we strive to instill values that go far beyond the game. Humility, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect are at the core of everything we do. On the field, players learn not only to improve their skills but also to support one another, build character, and grow as individuals.
This January, our camps are heading to New Zealand, where we’ll be visiting the beautiful cities of Auckland (January 12–16), Wellington (January 19–23), and Christchurch (January 26–30). These camps offer a truly unique opportunity for young players and their families to take a meaningful step toward their dream of training with one of the greatest clubs in the world.
Participants will also have the chance to be selected for the exclusive Barcelona Experience—a once-in-a-lifetime program in which families travel to Barcelona to train at the official Barça facilities, compete against top local teams, and immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of the city.
