Barça Academy is the official football school of FC Barcelona. The main goal of Barça Academy is to give players around the world the opportunity to learn the methodology and values of FC Barcelona.

Yes, we are an Official Barça Academy Camp. This opportunity is provided by Akaw Sports, who are the Official Partner of FC Barcelona in Australia and New Zealand.

Yes, our Camps absolutely cater to goalkeepers. While most of the training is integrated with the rest of the group to reflect real game situations, goalkeepers receive specific feedback tailored to their role.

Throughout the week, there are also dedicated goalkeeper drills led by our coaching staff to help develop key aspects such as technical skills, positioning, and overall game understanding.

• 5 days of training with Official Barça Academy Coaches. Players will learn the same successful methodology where players such as Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Piqué or Ansu Fati emerged from.

• An official Barça Academy Nike full kit (jersey + shorts + socks) that players need to wear at all times during the training sessions

• Players will have water during the breaks, which occur between sessions to ensure they stay hydrated and healthy. A piece of fruit will also be provided everyday.

• Players will receive a Barça Academy Camp certified diploma for the completion of the camp. Several prizes and awards will be given to a number of players at the end of the camp.

Players must bring:

• Water bottle

• Snack + Light lunch (We have a No Nut Policy. Please do not pack any food containing nuts)

• Football boots and runners/sneakers

• Shin pads

• Hat/cap is extremely recommended. Note that for brand image, only plain (non-branded), Nike or Barça hats/caps will be accepted (we will have Barça Academy hats available to buy if needed)

• Sunblock

• Players can’t wear necklaces, bracelets, rings or other accessories during the training

Boys and girls between 6 and 17 years old are welcomed at the Barça Academy Camp.

Official Coaches from Barça Academy will come exclusively to conduct the training sessions in Australia. All the coaches are licensed by UEFA.

In contrast to many other camps, all the coaches are currently involved with FC Barcelona. The Technical Director and the coaches will work hands on with the camp attendees.

The groups will be divided by age and level. On the first day of the camp, players will initially be grouped by age. Throughout the first training sessions, the Barça Academy coaches will assess ability and make any necessary adjustments to ensure all players are placed in the most suitable group. Players may be moved between groups during the camp if required.

The Barça Academy Camp is a day camp. Accommodation is not included.

Barça Academy Australia accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any personal property whilst attending any Barça Academy Australia football programs and/or school holiday football camps.

Parents/Guardians of participating players understand and are fully aware of the risks associated with their child participating in the activities provided by Barça Academy Australia and participate at their own risk and shall indemnify Barça Academy Australia and its staff against all actions, suits, proceeding, demands, costs and expenses which may be taken or made against Barça Academy Australia.

Several players from each program will be selected to train at the FC Barcelona HQ in Barcelona and participate at the Barça Academy World Cup and some other International Tournaments.

By enrolling in the Barça Academy Australia you are committing to a service contract. Barça Academy Australia does not offer refunds to the program after registration and participant’s gear has been ordered and paid for.

If a participant’s cancellation is due to an injury preventing the player’s participation, a medical certificate needs to be provided and a credit to a future program is at the discretion of the organization.

All participants in the Barça Academy Australia must have their own medical coverage. Parents are responsible for all costs of medical attention and treatment.

We know that sometimes parents are busy, that’s why for us is a priority to make things easier for them. This service involves having a person in charge of the players who arrive one hour before the start of the camp and those whose parents will pick them up one hour afterward. There won’t be any extra soccer sessions, but the children will be supervised by an adult.

A tactical session is a theory session focused on strategies and techniques used in a game, including positioning, movement, and team coordination. These are only offered in selected camps.
